On November 17, 2022, Musichead Gallery will be hosting a book event for JIMI alongside authors Janie Hendrix and John McDermott. Billy Gibbons will also be in attendance, along with Jimi Hendrix's flying V guitar, on loan from Hard Rock Cafe. The night will include a curated Jimi Hendrix photo & poster display, refreshments and valet parking.
Published by Chronicle Chroma, JIMI is the ultimate tribute to the greatest guitar player in rock and roll history. The book’s release celebrates what would what would have been Jimi Hendrix's 80th birthday on November 27, 2022. The book significantly expands on the authors' previously published titles, and features a new introduction by Janie, along with extensive biographical texts, a trove of never-before-published photographs, personal memorabilia, lyrics, and more.
