Jack Morefield

Jack Morefield's signature painting style came about by accident. After attempting to "destroy" a graphite portrait he disliked, he began to make broad strokes across it with an eraser. He became fascinated with these patterns and began to detail them, eventually translating this style onto canvas. He mainly focuses on celebrity portraits and landscapes, and has painted many contemporary and iconic music figures. His works have been shown in several galleries and is in many collections. He has been featured in publications such as Modern Art, which is published by the SoHo Institute of Fine Arts.
